CSM Group is a construction management firm that not only commits to safety, but actually Leads with Safety.

CSM goes far beyond what is required, and has even partnered with a local behavioral pshychologist to understand why people make unsafe decisions on job sites. 

We felt like we were doing all the right things, but it wasn't being reflected in our insurance costs.  

In February of 2017, CSM moved into a P&C captive to take advantage of their strong safety performance.

 

 

 

 

CREATING A TRUE EMPLOYEE BENEFITS STRATEGY

CSM invests heavily into its people and culture. They also focus on hiring the best talent available in the indsutry. Employee benefits plays a key role in that, but it was being treated more like a commodity than a key part of CSM's strategy. 

We finally have a multi-year strategy for managing our employee benefits program. We didn't have that before.
