Meet Nicole Kimminau - HNI Wisconsin's newest Account Associate. Nicole brings over nine years of benefits experience to her team along with a passion for customer service.

So, you have over 9 years of benefits experience. What knowledge have you gained along the way?

I've always had a passion for helping others which is why customer service comes naturally for me. Frequently, clients have questions surrounding their coverage or perhaps don't understand their benefits package. This has given me the ability to better explain benefits and insurance coverages in a clear, simplified manner. A little communication goes a long way!

What were you most surprised to learn about HNI?

I previously worked for a large employer, so it was quite a change from what I was use to. HNI is incredibly family-friendly and really does believe in making their employees happy. The culture here is so open and inviting.

What's your top goal for your first year here at HNI?

Since I have never worked on the agency side before, my first year I want to get a grasp on everything and put the puzzle together.

What would people be surprised to learn about you?

I love card games and play them often. I also enjoy cooking and baking!

Any advice for someone looking to get into insurance?

Don't get overwhelmed. There's a lot of new verbiage and it can be confusing, but stick with it because it is so very worth it.
