What inspired you to make a career move to HNI?
The people I met early in the process along with the HNI story they shared. Additionally, I feel HNI is as excited about me joining the team as I am.
What were you most surprised/impressed to learn about HNI?
Leadership is intimately involved and committed to onboarding and developing its talent on the brand and strategic process.
What would people be surprised to learn about you?
When something is not working like a household device or electronic item, I like to take it apart and try and fix it. It is already broken, right?
How do you plan to spend your mandatory 1 week unplug?
My family and I will take a first ever trip to Colorado to spend a week together and enjoying outdoor activities like hiking, sightseeing, rafting and ziplining.
Why did you choose the Insurance Industry as a career?
I admired the character and success of several people in the industry early in my career which lead to me pursuing an industry opportunity in 2004 as an account executive. What I have learned since then is, the industry is amazing and holds the most interesting stories. The risk advisor business is one where deep relationships are formed and there is infinite opportunity to help people/clients change, improve and succeed.
