What inspired you to make a career move to HNI?

Having worked on both the carrier and agency side of insurance, I had become accustomed to the traditional insurance cycle many companies roll forward with. What attracted me most to HNI was the LiveIT culture the company encourages. HNI allows and encourages employees to think outside the box to deliver the very best to our clients.   

What were you most surprised to learn about HNI?

Transparency. HNI has many clear goals in sight and follows through on the action needed to achieve them. Not many companies doing business right now can “walk the walk” quite like HNI does.  

What would people be surprised to learn about you?

I play competitively in three local pinball leagues and enjoy going to pinball tournaments throughout the United States.

How do you plan to spend your mandatory 1 week unplug?

I am traveling to Japan to visit my husband while he is on tour with his band. Excited to experience an entirely different culture!

Why did you choose the Insurance Industry as a career? 

The biggest influence on my life was my Grandpa who had been an Insurance Agent for many years. Growing up with a role model that encouraged everyone he knew to participate in community outreach, help their neighbor and treat everyone with respect inspired me to work in the Insurance industry.
