AwardsHNI is looking for an Account Manager for our Michigan office, located in the heart of downtown Grand Rapids across from Rosa Parks Circle. We're growing fast – 63% in the past two years – and we want to surround ourselves with only the cream of the crop to help us build on our track record of success.

This Account Manager has big shoes to fill. For the experienced insurance service rep looking for a growth opportunity -- you've found it!  This high profile role will allow you to hone your craft and take your abilities to the next level.  

What you’ll be doing:

As an Account Manager, you will be one of the primary ambassadors on behalf of the company to vendors, carriers, and clients.  

Your key focus will be coordinating the delivery of insanely great service to our customers.  You will live and breathe service, acting as the day-to-day contact for the customer when they’re troubleshooting issues or when they need guidance to make decisions that position them for success. You will also be the go-to guy or gal for special requests and projects that come up and provide opportunities to really wow our customer.

Who we’re looking for:

You are a jedi of client services and insurance processing. You’re the guy or gal on the team that makes sure the trains run on time.  Your positive, can-do attitude helps keep things on track and motivates those around you.

You make clients want to hug you.  With your superior communication skills, you help our customers get the peace of mind that comes with knowing they have a solid risk management plan and the team to make sure they’re protected.

Deal breakers:

In our top notch Account Managers, we’re looking for:

      • High school diploma (bachelors preferred)
      • 3+ years of insurance servicing savvy
      • Current Property & Casualty Insurance License
      • You know your way around Word, PowerPoint and Excel (bonus points if you’ve dabbled in Prezi)
      • Data entry skills with ridiculous accuracy and efficiency
      • Eager to work in a collaborative and innovative environment
